Shockwave for Stress Fracture Management

Is there a suggested protocol and/or selection criteria model for stress fracture management using RPW or FSW? Are there any high-quality RCTs or Systematic reviews available for this? Thanks in advance.

Ben. I was going to send you pretty much the same ref list - but got beaten to it. There are MANY areas where shockwave is being investigated (I counted about 20 in the musculoskeletal domain when I looked recently). Stress fractures are certainly treated with it by some clinicians and aside from the refs cited in other replies, the anecdotal responses I am hearing are positive - appreciate that is not as good as a published paper - but just making the observation. Hello The use of ESWT / RSWT in fractures is an interesting area, which looks promising, but with relatively few published quality works. I have no professional experience in this area but as I said it seems to have positive results. I send you some titles that may help.
