Blood cancer and ultrasound

Hi. I have a patient with what he refers to as chronic leukaemia, which is at a level which could technically be described as blood cancer. He is stable and requires no medication or treatment. It was found incidentally. He is keen to have ultrasound for his foot. What is the consensus on this? Many thanks for any replies.
