Shockwave Therapy for Chronic Prostatitis

Hello, I’ve had chronic abacterial prostatitis since Dec 2018. Occasionally, I have pain in the prostate area with radating pain in the groin and leg. No pelvic or abdominal pain whatsoever. But my libido completely diminished with this condition as it also caused erectile issues. I’ve tested for testosterone and my levels were great. I’m 25 y/o. I have upcoming FSWT scheduled 6 sessions 1 week apart. Will this be appropriate for me? Also, will my condition heal completely or can it heal completely with this therapy? Since my symptoms came with the condition,Will the SWT relieve my symptoms?

Hi Carl Since my last post I can now state that there is some evidence to say the PWT will also provide benefits for Men's Health issues. That said anecdotally FSW would be a more comfortable treatment and has been in widespread use a lot longer Diagnosis is key to your complaint Good luck Cliff

Hello. I'm sorry, boy, that you get libido problems. I think you need to https://buyviagrageneric.com click site where Viagra is sold. I understand that this is not a medicine and it will not cure your disease, but you will definitely not have problems with libido, and your sex life will improve. You can get the MRI results and start medication treatment. But for now, it will work to maintain libido through Viagra. Good luck.

Dear Carl Sorry to gear that you are having health issues I can tell you that there are studies to support the use of Focused Shockwave therapy (FSWT) in the treatment of Chronic Prostrate Pain Syndrome and Erectile dysfunction (ED). FSWT has shown to be effective for ED when the cause is due to a vascular disorder. I am not sure whether it would be appropriate in your case A correct diagnosis and prescription from a Consultant Urologist would be essential before commencing a course of shockwave I would suggest Also be aware that true shockwave therapy is FSWT. There is also Radial Pressure Wave Therapy, whcih is marketed as Radial 'shockwave'. The latter is unlikely to provide you with any benefit based on current clinical trials I hope you find a treatment plan that will help you Best wishes Cliff

Also, are the healing effects of SWT permenant or is it something that last for couple years? Otherwise would the Treatment “wear off” as we would say?
