How to use vitalstim with tracheostomy patient

Hear I want to know whether it's a contraindication or we can you.. Because when it's comes to dysphagia most of the people with traciaostomy...

And let me know the contraindications for vitalstim. And are we use with any tooth implants patient..

Mahesh. Thank you for your post. I know a (small) bit about VitalStim system, but have not used it clinically. I can't identify anything about its use which would constitute a contraindication for a patient with a tracheostomy BUT I can't access any 'official' contraindication list. Tooth implants really should not be a problem for elec stim (of any variation) around the head / neck / face - so that should be fine. Would be interested to know what the experts with the system have to say about the tracheotomy issue - when you get the find out from Elena (the lisk from Cliff) please let us all know for future reference.
