ECSWT and instability of femoral shaft post THR uncemented

This is a followup to my original post as the entire question was not included. Does anyone have experience with using ECSWT to stimulate bone formation around the femoral shaft post THR. My client is very active and is now 8 mon post op and the surgeon has diagnosed some instability in the femoral shaft of the prosthesis die to insufficient bone formation. Client is fully weight bearing but uncomfortable after a 30 min walk. The client has Crohn’s disease which may be a factor. The surgeon said there was no Rx but to wait. I attended a webinar recently on using ECSWT for non union of fractures. Does anyone have experience with this? Dosages? Parameters? Can it be used to stimulate bony growth around a prosthesis?
